Our Team

We have a great team here at Caversham Heights Dental Practice who are highly experienced and committed to making your visit as comfortable as possible whilst providing you with the highest quality of dental care.

Katy Sansom BDS

Katy qualified from Cardiff Medical School in 2005, after which she completed her vocational training year in Barry. In 2006 a hectic July saw her get married, move house (to Woodcote) and start a new job at Wallingford. She began working at Caversham Heights Dental Practice in December 2011. Katy enjoys all areas of dentistry and is happiest when a patient is smiling too.

Katy has two energetic little boys, Matthew and Finlay who tend to occupy most of her time outside of the surgery. If she does manage to find a few minutes Katy enjoys going to boot camp, mountain biking and especially loves a fast horse ride in Windsor Great Park.

Katy Strongly believes in a preventative and minimally invasive approach to dentistry and enjoys improving her patient’s smiles with these principles in mind

Stephanie Brown BDS

Stephanie has been working in general practice for more than twenty five years: her strengths are good communication and putting people at ease; she is particularly good with anxious patients. Stephanie is experienced in all aspects of dentistry: from tooth whitening and cosmetic work to white fillings and root treatments, but the most rewarding part for her is when the patient has had a pleasant experience and is pleased with the final result.

When at home, Stephanie goes for long walks with her labradoodle Sammy and has recently acquired an allotment. She exercises at the gym regularly and enjoys running and yoga. Stephanie has 2 teenage children that keep her on her toes and a very tolerant husband.

Peter Sansom BSc (Hons)

Pete went to Cardiff University to study maths and now works as an Actuary. Having always wanted to run his own business he jumped at the opportunity of helping his wife Katy run a dental practice, hoping that his love of spreadsheets would help!

Pete plays squash in the Berkshire county leagues, loves to mountain bike and play football – in fact any sporting activity Pete is sure to enjoy! When he is not outside getting muddy you can find him teaching his two boys the offside rule!
